Monoamines (dopamine, serotonin, epinephrine, and norepinephrine)

This is a group of chemicals that perform fundamental roles in human biology. It includes neurotransmitters, neuromodulators and sypathomimetic amines.  Examples are dopamine, serotonin, epinephrine and norepinephrine.

The structure consist of one amine group attached to aromatic ring by a two carbon chain.
